Teikoku Tsushin Kogyo produces integrated control blocks, variable resistors, molded plastic products and molds. In 2012, they merged the molded plastic products unit and the high-tech electronic parts unit to built an end-to-end manufacturing structure from the production of interim products through the assembly of finished products, in Ayutthaya Industrial Park, Thailand. Simultaneously, they adopted mcframe and A.S.I.A. GP as their back-end IT systems to support such an end-to-end manufacturing system. In-house system engineers who had attended the mcframe trainings, implemented mcframe by themselves. The merger gives them many benefits, such as process efficiency by shared information, cost reduction by end-to-end manufacturing, shorter leadtime, better quality, etc. After Thailand, they are deploying mcframe and A.S.I.A. Siam Orient Electric (SOE) is established in 1988 as a manufacturing plant for its parent company Kasuga Electric Works, and SOE produces industrial electric parts, such as industrial terminal blocks, electro-magnetic switches, push-botton power switches, etc. In this ERP implementation, mcframe CS Production Management, mcframe CS Cost Management and A.S.I.A. GP have been implemented to manage production, sales, accounting and cost management for all the SOE products, in just 9 months from the requirement definition through go-live.
